The school’s headmaster is a bi-colored bear named Monokuma, who traps them all inside the building using armoured doors, powerful locking systems, and threats hanging over their family and loved ones. However, his luck and new academy take a turn for the worst when he learns that in order to graduate, they have to kill someone and not be caught – to commit the perfect murder, actually.
